For Nat Shaffir, Holocaust survivor and Museum volunteer, and these October 7 survivors, antisemitism shattered their worlds. They met for the first time in Washington, DC, in July 2025 during a tour at the Museum and later spoke at the Nova Music Festival Exhibition, which testifies to a horrific part of Hamas’s terrorist attack on Israel, the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust. Generations apart, the group stands as a stark reminder of the dangers of unchecked antisemitism and all forms of hate.
