Regional Programming Initiative

The Regional Programming Initiative introduces new audiences across our target regions to interdisciplinary programs and approaches about the Holocaust. Our programs bring Holocaust studies scholars into conversation with local scholars around themes relevant to their classrooms, campus communities, and their region. This collaborative programmatic  approach cultivates diverse networks of faculty that engage in rigorous conversations around important historical questions related to the Holocaust.

We invite faculty of all disciplines and career stages from North American colleges and universities to learn more about the Initiative by contacting Campus Outreach Programs at campusoutreach@ushmm.org.

  • Explore our current target region, Physical and Social Spaces of Exclusion: Nazi Germany and the Great Plains.

  • Learn more about how our Regional Programs are formed to help foster conversation and community.
