In 2013, HBO, in association, with the Museum, released the documentary 50 Children: The Rescue Mission of Mr. and Mrs. Kraus. The film chronicles the efforts of Gilbert Kraus and his wife, Eleanor—two Americans who undertook the successful rescue of 50 Jewish children from Vienna in the late spring of 1939.

Join us for a screening of the film followed by a conversation with Pressman and Leslie Swift and the National Institute for Holocaust Documentation.
