
A Museum Teacher Fellow explores the Americans and the Holocaust exhibition. US Holocaust Memorial Museum
Established in 1996, the Museum Teacher Fellowship Program at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum empowers highly-skilled teachers to support the Museum’s educational outreach efforts. During the fellowship term, Fellows organize and facilitate professional development presentations in their community, share the Museum’s educational resources, and serve as teacher experts for the Museum. The fellowship term runs from June 2027 through December 2028 (18 months). Applications open for the 2027–2028 Museum Teacher Fellowship class on September 1, 2026, and must be completed by December 30, 2026.
NOTE: Fellowship applicants must have attended the 2026 Belfer National Conference for Holocaust Education, the Museum’s foundational teacher education program.
