Driven from his home in Qaraqosh, Iraq, by the self-proclaimed Islamic State in summer 2014, Yohanna, a Christian, now lives in a rented house near Erbil. Some of his friends now live in makeshift homes, known as “caravans,” in displaced-persons camps.
