As a teenager, Fritz Gluckstein had to start wearing a yellow Star of David badge in Nazi Berlin. Across Europe, Nazi officials forced Jews to wear badges or armbands as a means of segregating and humiliating them. 

Learn about Fritz’s close call when he risked going out without his star and what the badge symbolizes today.
