Survivors were a driving force behind the creation of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and, since it opened in 1993, many have devoted countless hours to sharing their firsthand accounts of persecution and survival.
Join us to learn how stories of individual choice and motivation will be conveyed in the Museum’s new Permanent Exhibition, ten years in development and made possible by generous donors. Meet some of the survivors who currently volunteer and honor all survivors who have dedicated themselves to ensuring the truth of the Holocaust is secured.
The cost of this event has been generously underwritten by a grant from the Nussdorf Family Foundation.

Jay and Amy Leveton are deeply committed to the Museum’s mission to preserve Holocaust memory, combat antisemitism, and teach the ongoing relevance of the Holocaust.
Amy Leveton is a strategic partner to dozens of Fortune 500 corporations in the technology, consumer goods, retail, and quick service restaurant industries with decades of marketing and communications expertise. At Penn, Schoen & Berland Associates, a subsidiary of Burson and a WPP company, she served as the firm’s first female vice president, managing director, and executive vice president between 1998–2019. Amy is an expert in translating market research into winning strategies that allow her clients to succeed in competitive environments. From corporate reputation, brand positioning, and stakeholder engagement to rapid visual polling, crisis work, and tracking, she helps develop strategies and tactics for companies facing scrutiny in a rapidly changing, global business environment. She has also been instrumental in achieving victories for a range of political candidates in the United States and abroad and led polling for Hillary Clinton during her 2000, 2006, and 2008 political campaigns.
PRWeek magazine named Amy one of its “40 Under 40”, which honors public relations practitioners who demonstrate “innovative thinking, strong determination, and results that indicate a long and successful career in the PR industry.” Amy was also honored as one of Politics Magazine’s “Rising Stars.” She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Michigan Honors College, with dual degrees in political science and psychology. She has taught MBA classes at Arizona State University’s W. P.
