In celebration of our 30th anniversary, we invite you to join us for an exclusive visit to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum to learn more about the scope and impact of our work around the globe. This specially designed two-day experience will feature docent-led tours of the Museum’s main exhibition, behind-the-scenes briefings on current and planned Museum initiatives, time in our special exhibitions, Donor Wall unveilings for eligible donors, and the chance to meet other leaders from around the country who share your commitment to the Museum’s important mission.
This trip includes a private tour of the David and Fela Shapell Family Collections, Conservation and Research Center, which is not open to the general public, where you will get an exclusive look at our global collections efforts. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the contributions of the Museum's Holocaust survivor volunteers and hear a firsthand account of the impact of those contributions at our annual event, An Evening to Honor Holocaust Survivors, on Sunday, November 12th.
The $350 per-person registration fee includes educational materials, an evening reception on Sunday, lunch on both days, and ground transportation during the Mission Trip program. Participants are responsible for personal travel to and from Washington, DC, and for lodging and incidentals.
The Museum has reserved a limited number of rooms for Saturday, November 11–Sunday, November 12 at the JW Marriott (1331 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20024) for $229 + taxes. Reservations should be made directly with the hotel here or at 800.393.2503 before Thursday, October 19, 2023.
