Running Breathless: An Untold Story of WWII and the Holocaust
The author tells the story of his father's, Van Wolf Kogul, experience during World War II. His father was first a refugee, fleeing from the German invasion of Poland into the Soviet Union. He was then a soldier in the Soviet Army fighting the Germans. And lastly after the war he became a Survivor, eventually coming to the United States to start a new life for his family.
