Notes:
All those named seem to have been previously exempt, mostly due to age. The exemption forJewish men aged in their late '40s was withdrawn in 1942. Eleven of the 12 were from Sofia; one man came from Kiostendil. Four were assigned to the 4th Group of the 2nd Battalion in Septembe, Five men to the 7th Group in July, two to the 2nd Group in September, and one man to the 3rd Group in August.
