This is a postwar document. It is a list of men who were rounded up in Amsterdam on February 22, 1941, and then deported to Buchenwald on February 28, 1941. Only two of them survived the war. Those who did not die at Buchenwald were subsequently transferred to Mauthausen on May 22, 1941. The names are grouped by place of death and then alphabetized within those groups. The names of those who died at Mauthausen run A-Z and then start again at "A" for those who died at Linz. The list includes each person's prisoner number at Buchenwald (350-4968, with gaps and not in order) and, if they were there, Mauthausen (1667-10049, partially in order with gaps), but not for those who were at Linz. The list also includes each person's last and first names, date and place of birth, last residence, and date and place ofdeath. Survivors are indicated as such on the list.
