A highly sophisticated and even exemplary memorial website compiled and presented by a private individual to the Jewish deportees of the Departments of Sarthe and Mayenne in the northwestern region of Pays-de-la-Loire of France. Portraits of the victims are included as available in many, though not all, of its alphabetically-arranged entries, which also offer highly detailed biographical and other information concerning residences, persecution and deportation. Often such information also provides links to facsimile images of corroborating documents. The site also contains a separate alphabetically-arranged section for those who somehow avoided deportation ("Non déportés"), most or all of whom presumably survived the War.
