The dates of the receipts vary (and cover ca. May 1943-1945).

The range of prisoners numbers I provide here is an approximation.

Polish-language translations of the German accompancy some of the receipts.

The receipts cover objects such as watches, cufflinks, rings, tie pins, pens, banknotes and coins, bank (savings account) books, and cigarette cases. At least one Personalausweis (with photo) is included among these receipts.

May not be all from Mauthausen; some are stamped Konzentrationslager Gross-Rosen or K.-L. Stutthof, or may even be from Natzweiler.

Some short correspondence interspersed regarding prison terms.
