Abstract:
Memorial book to the former Lithuanian Jewish community of Marijampole (which may be found variously spelled, and also alternatively known as Kapsukas, Starapole or Pasesupiai). Includes an alphabetical Holocaust necrology of those who perished from Marijampole and surrounding areas ("Rashimat kedoyshei ha-kehilah ha-yehudit be-Mariampol ve-ha-sevivah", p. [188-198], in an unpaginated section), as well as necrologies of former residents of Marijampole who died in Israel and the diaspora ("Rashimat yotsei Mariampol [...]", p. 177).
