The approximately 700 name lists that comprise this microfilm collection of World Jewish Congress records held by the American Jewish Archives in Cincinnatti, Ohio (Website: http://www.americanjewisharchives.org) were identified by former Director of the Registry of Holocaust Survivors, Ms. Sarah Ogilvie. The microfilm was purchased by the Registry of Holocaust Survivors from the American Jewish Archives, and then transferred to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives Collections in 1997.

Abstract:
Fragmentary name list, presumably of survivors at Buchenwald. The name entries are consecutively numbered from 998 to 1275. The first part (entries 998-1085 ; p. 31-34) contains a roughly alphabetical list of names from Nachimaier to Pukatsky of various nationalities. Entries include name, date of birth, place of birth and the name and location of a foreign contact. The second part (entries 1086-1275 ; p. 35-37) contains a roughly alphabetical list of names from Lachtikiss to Perelmutter and bears the heading "Second Part : List of Polish Jewish Survivors at Buchenwald submitted by the World Jewish Congress". Entries include name, date of birth and city of birth.
