Abstract:
Published and archival source materials on the Jewish community of Leipzig, Germany spanning the period from 1874 to present. Among these materials is a photocopy of a deportation list of Leipzig Jews to Concentration Camp Buchenwald dated 11 Nov 1938. Also included is a 1935 list of members of Leipzig's 'Sportverein Schild'. A 1994 article about a visit of former Leipzig Jews is included as well. Also contains 9 reels of microfilm (16mm) consisting of 8 reels membership lists as of 1935 and one reel deportation list 1940s (Leo Baeck inventory).
