• Collection of police case files of seven criminal cases handled by the police in Dresden 1934-1938. Document entries vary, and may include some or all of the following information: birthdate and place, age or approximation (i.e. how old did the person appear), height, hair color, type, and style; facial hair (beard, eyebrows); eye color, facial features (nose, ears, mouth, chin, head, throat, etc.); teeth; arms and hands; legs and feet; identifying marks; visible ailments; tatoos; build; presence; posture; nervous ticks; habits; clothing from head to toe; jewelry, and a brief curriculum vitae; arrest date, address, and location of personal records; father's and mother's name. Some entries contain photos and a description of the 'crime' the individual committed. Four of the cases involved Jews and two involved Jehovah's Witnesses.
