Description:
This grouping contains documents that are related to the identification and registration of Jews in the Łódź Ghetto. Includes Łódź Ghetto Worker Cards, work cards, forms, certificates and other documents that list the name, date of birth, sex, age, religion, registration number, address, family members, employer, occupation and the date the worker started working. Most of them include a picture; some might be labeled with “deceased”, “deported” or “invalid” stamps. Others are notifications to report for deportation.
