Description:
List includes first and last names, ages, sex, marital status, and nationalities.

The people on this list were passengers on the S.S. Tiger Hill and the S.S. Frossoula. The S.S. Tiger Hill sailed from Constanţa, Romania on August 3, 1939. It took on passengers from the S.S. Frossoula, another illegal immigrant ship that was marooned in Lebanon without any funds or provisions, on August 29, 1939. On September 1, 1939, the first day of World War II, the ship was intercepted and fired on by the British off Tel Aviv. Most of the passengers were caught by the British Police and detained for at least 10 days before they were released to the Jewish Agency.
