Hometowns but no YOB are given fort he Jewish laborers, who constituted the 6th Battalion. The list is subdivided by work groups. The 1st Jewish Work Group numbered 212 men; the 2nd had 126 men; the 3rd had 143 men; the 4th had 107 men; the 5th had 125 men: the 6th had 200 men (although names #129-141 are only partially legible); the 7th had 147 men; the 8th had 230 men; and the 9th had 300 men. The dates on which each man reported to duty are given, from May 12 to June 22. Most reported for duty in mid-May. These work groups of the 6th Battalion each worked separate stretches, near Lovech, of a road project planned to link Sofia and Varna.
