Hometowns but no YOB are given for the 212 named Jewish laborers, who constituted the 1st Group of the 6th Battalion. The dates on which each man reported to duty are given, from May 12 to June 22. Most reported for duty in mid-May. According to an order dated April 30, 1943, this group was supposed to have a complement of 300 Jewish laborers. The group occupied barracks in the city of Lovech, and worked on constructing the stretch numbered Kilometers #166-169 of the Sofia-Varna road project.
