Notes:
The six men were serving with the 4th Jewish Work Group of the 1st Labor Battalion. They were from Salonika (i.e., Thessaloniki; Solun) and from Skopie, where the Jewish communities had been deported into Nazi hands in March and April 1943. These men reported for duty in June, July, and August. Two of the men, a pair of brothers, came on August 11; one of these was from Salonika and the other from Skopie. This list seems to indicate that the men reported voluntarily for work with the 1st Labor Battalion.
