- Biography

Laszlo Antos was born in Kecskemét in 1903. He was an avid amateur filmmaker and photographer as well as an engineer. He owned a business in Hungary with some other Jews. Because of the laws in Hungary, he had difficulties with his business and began working at a new company in Berlin that one of his co-owners opened. Antos filmed around the city and documented what was going on in Berlin in 1936. On May 1, 1944, he was called in as a labor battalion engineer at Sárospatak to serve with the #15 airport building unit. He survived the war.

Laszlo Antos was was an avid amateur filmmaker and photographer as well as an engineer. Antos filmed around the city of Berlin in 1936 and documented what was going on. This collection contains three reels of 8mm black and white film.
