User Comment:
When I searched for Dawid Szwiczarcyk there wasn't any results so I searched in the fuzzy settings and found three results for Dawid. They were Dawid Chaim Swiczarczuk born 23 March 1928 and he lived at Bierstrasse 25 flat 15 and Bieratrasse 8 (no flat number). He the appears again as Dawid Chaim Swiczarczyk with the same birthdate and addresses and a ghetto note of A.G. 26.6.44. Lastly, he appears as Dawid Chaim Swiczarczyk with a slightly different birthdate of 29 March 1928 and living at Bierstrasse 8 flat 12 and Buschlinie 33 (not flat number) and had a note of Bier 25.

I agree that all three of these records (and both spellings and dates of birth) point to the same person, who is the most likely person to have signed this name in the album. Be sure to look for both spellings as you move forward in your research. He was in the ghetto as late as June 1944, which means that there's a chance he survived the war--I wonder what you'll find in the next stages.

User Comment:
I found Dawid in the Lodz Ghetto Work cards with the birthdate 20 March 1928, his worker number was 12665 and he worked at Metall II, 37. He had worked from 28 Jan 1943. If Dawid was deported on 26 Jun 1944 he would have ended up in Chelmno and killed in the gas vans.
I found the following people living at the same addresses of Dawid.
Lajb Swiczarczyk born 11/09/1877 (says gest 41R) (Dawid's Father)
Golda Szwiczarczyk Szpiro born 21/03/1895 (she was deported 14/09/42) (his Mother)
Maria Szwiczarczyk/Szwiczarczuk born 20/10/1920 (his sister)
Bella Szwiczarczyk born 10/02/1922 (his sister)
Salomon Izrael Szwiczarczyk born 07/12/1924 (his note says "Aus Getto")
Izaak Szwiczarczyk born 07/12/1924 (his not says VERHAFTET 13.12.40- Which means Arrested I believe)
Given the fact Izaak and Salomon share the same birthdate it's possible they were twins or perhaps one of them was a cousin or other family relative. I entered the spelling of Dawid's name (SWICIARCZYK) along with his transport Number which I got off JewishGen.

There is also a record--one of the few--for Dawid Swiciarczyk (another spelling) in "Lodz Transports to the Chelmno Extermination Camps," listed as deported on June 26, 1944. Please add this spelling to this stage as well. Thank you for helping to complete Dawid's record.
