School #20 was a school for boys in Lodz. The students in #20a attended classes in the morning. Most students were between 8 and 13 years old, meaning that they were born between 1928 and 1933.
School #20 was located at Ulica Jakuba 10. The street name was changed to Rembrandtstrasse when German occupation began in 1939. You can read more about Ulica Jakuba at

Great work! I agree you've found the person who signed this name in the album. In 1941 he would have been 9 years old, the right age to attend school #20A. In the future, please leave a "research note" explaining your process and how you decided this was the right person. Note the other address listed for him--Al I Maja 21 (a Polish name, so likely a pre-ghetto address).
We also find him listed as Izak Bernard Wygnanska, born on March 26, 1932. We often find people with a -ski ending under the -ska ending for that name as well: Polish naming conventions say that -ska is a female ending and -ski is a male ending, but we suspect the German record keepers did not always follow these conventions in writing down the names. Please enter the additional spelling and DoB, and I'll be able to confirm your research. Thanks!
