User Comment:

After running Pinchas's name through the inhabitants database only three names appeared, even after changing the spelling several times only three names were present. And only one of the names was born between 1928 and 1933 which I concluded might be Pinchas. Also in the database it labeled him as a student and eventhough location may not mean much becuase the inhabitants of the Ghetto moved often his home address was only one street over from school 20a's location.

I agree! Your reasoning for why you believe Pinkus is the person who signed this name in the album is sound. I look forward to seeing what you uncover in the next stages.

User Comment:

I believe Pinkus was on transport #33 because in the notes under his name there is AG TR 33. AG could mean change of registration of address or deportation, but in this instance it is combined with the TR and AUSG TR stands for deportation to Chelmno. I am unsure when this exatcly took place because no date is listed and Pinkus is not in any of the work ID cards.

I also believe I found Pinkus's mother and father. They both reside at Altmarkt 3 8 and would have been probably in their late 30s. Motel's age is listed at 14/07/1904. I also know he was deported 05/05/1941 AG because that is included in the notes. Chana Nacha is more complicated because she is listed twice but with two different birthdates, one is 14/05/1902 and the other 14/07/1904.

I agree that it is likely that the AG in this case does refer to a deportation from the ghetto, though we don't know to where or when. Have you found any additional information in the next stages that might help you with this question?
