Student Profile: Szymon Rozenberg

We began our search for Szymon Rozenberg by searching his name in the Lodz Ghetto Inhabitants database. Due to the common nature of his name, there were seven results. The age of each Szymon Rozenberg varied, thus there was only one result that matched this particular Szymon. Since we know that our Szymon Rozenberg went to School #1, we also know that he must have been born between the years 1926 and 1932. There is only one Szymon who was born between these years, which is the Szymon Rozenberg that was born on October 14, 1926, thus he just barely makes the cut-off for School #1. Unfortuantely, since Rozenberg is such a common name, we did not have any luck finding definite family members. Moreover, Szymon's page on the database lacks a ghetto note, so we do not know to which camp he was deported to, or even if he was deported.
