I searched Israel with an alternate spelling -- Izrael -- with the same last name. Two boys named Izrael Infeld came up as having birth dates falling into that of this boy, so I believe either could be possible.

Upon researching people with the same last name, I found the mother and father of the Izrael Infeld who was born in 1932. Both the mother and father were born in reasonable years to be his parents, and they lived at the same addresses that he did.
