User Comment:

In searching for 'Orzech', and the narrowing down the years to correspond with the ages of the schoolchildren, only Froim came up as a possible match.

Expert Reviewer Comment:
I agree with your reasoning!

I also agree that this is the most likely person to have signed this name in the album. In 1941 he would have been 9 years old, the right age to attend school #13a.

User Comment:

I matched Froim to his family by looking at matching addresses. Froim had a father, Jankiel/Yankiel (b. 1903); a mother, Chaja (b. 1908); and two siblings: Chaim (b. 1936), and Riwki (b. 1944).

Froim had a deportation date shared only in the family by Chaim: September 12, 1942, on which date there was a deportation to Chelmno. No deportation information for Froim's parents is listed, and Riwki moved to an unknown new address on July 3, 1944 (however, since there was a deportation to Chelmno on that date, it is possible she was deported instead of moved).

I agree with your conclusions and reasoning.

I agree with your conclusions. He would have been deported during the Gehsperre Aktion in early September, which ended at Chelmno.

For Riwki, we cannot be certain that the July 3, 1944 date represents a deportation, though it is possible. Were you able to uncover any more information about her in the later stages?
