User Comment:
The true identity of the name Fela Geltkop could be Sala Goldkopf... The names are slightly off, but the possible years they could have been born in match up.. #4B school contained students that were born in the years of 1926-1932, and Sala was born in 1927. Also I realized that Sala and another student named Szejwa Goldkopf lived under the same ghetto address. Maybe they are siblings?
Approver Comment:
I agree that there is no exact match for Fela Geltkop, and that Sala Goldkopf was born within the right range for school #4b. I want to leave this marked "possible" until we know a little bit more about her, and see if there are more clues that point to her having signed a name that either was or looked like Fela Geltkop in the album.
Please reenter the addresses in the address field using the drop-down menu of street names: Alexanderhofstrasse 113, Reiterstrasse 5 21, and Reiterstrasse 9 (after April 13, 1942).
I do agree that she and Szejwa (who, incidentally, is also in the right age range for school #4b) were likely siblings, based on their ages and the fact that they share common addresses. I look forward to seeing what else you discover!
