I agree you've found the right student. In 1941 she would have been 10 years old, the right age to attend school #9a. Nice work.

User Comment:
The Lodz Ghetto Inhabitants database indicates that Rywka was deported on March 30, 1942. Since the secondary sources indicate that Jews were deported daily from Lodz to Chelmno in March 1942, then one can deduce that Rywka was overwhlemingly likely to have been deported to Chelmno where she would have been killed upon arrival.

I agree with your conclusions. I would suggest we take out the date of death, since we don't know for certain that she died on the day of her deportation, but based on the deportation date, as you correctly note, we can safely deduce that she was deported to Chelmno, where she perished. As soon as you take out the date of death, I will be able to mark this research as "confirmed." Thanks!
User Comment:
I found the following people living at the same address as Rywka. Icek born 2 June 1889, Chaim Mojech born 19 Apr 1925, Hinda born 27 Dec 1923, and Jakon born 5 March 1935. They all shared Rywka's deportation date.
Expert Reviewer Comment:
I agree with your findings! If the family was deported in March of 1942 their fate would have been the gas vans. Why not enter in Rywka's biography? Thanks for helping complete her record!

Thank you for correcting the date of death. You may still enter the place of death, however, since she would not have survived a deportation to Chelmno. You may now enter Rywka's biography, as suggested by your expert reviewer.
