User Comment:
By searching for Ester under the exact setting of the USHHM database, I was able to find a little girl with a birthdate of January 12,1930 with an occupation listed as Schueler that I believe to be the girl that signed the album. She was the only Ester Imber listed in the database.
Approver Comment:
I agree this is the person who most likely signed this name in the album. As you suggest, she would have been 11 years old in 1941, the right age to be attending school #7b.

Thank you for adding the additional spelling and correcting your research sources!

User Comment:
I was able to find whom I believe to be Ester's father and brother just by searching for the last name under the exact setting. Jida's d.o.b. of 1902 and Josef's d.o.b. of 1924 led me to the conclusion that those were the particular familial roles that they played in Ester's life. I also found another male figure by the name of Wolf that lived with the family (he was 51 years old at the time), that I believe to have been related to Ester, but I am not sure of his particular role. I was unable to find any deportation/transfer dates or information for most of the family, but Wolf has a date of death of 20.6.42 that is listed as having taken place inside the ghetto.

Have you looked under both spellings in the next stages to see if there is information on Esther there? Also, again, please be specific about your source on JewishGen--where did you find this information?
