User Comment:

When I searched the Lodz Ghetto Inhabitants Database only one Miriam Kutner was found. She was born in 1929 and she lived at HOLZ 63 51 and SATY 7.

I also believe Marjem Szyfra Kutner born in 12/07/1932 is a possible candidate for the MIRIAM KUTNER that attended school #10b. She lived at ALEXANDERHOF STRASSE 10 FLAT 24.

I agree that both students might have signed the name Miriam Kutner in school #10b's section of the album. Thank you for including their addresses. I'll look forward to seeing what you find in stage 2!

User Comment:

I believe the mother and father of Miriam Kutner was Terca Kutner b. 1888 and d. 07/06/1942 and Nuchem Kutner b. 1885 and d. 06/02/1941, and her siblings/cousins were Arie Kutner b. 32/02/1906, Chaja b. 1923, and Judyta b. 09/12/1927.

I beilieve Marjem Kutner was deported on 15/03/1942 on tr 13. I also think her parents were Sura Kutner b. 10/09/1902 and Dawid Lajb b. 01/03/1905 and her siblings were Izrael b. 1937 and Chaja Perl b. 1934. According to the secondary sources, if Marjem was deported in March of 1942 she most likely ended up in Chelmno where she perished in the gas vans.

I agree entirely with all of your conclusions--thank you for your thorough research. I'll continue to mark this as "possible" until we can say with greater certainty who signed the album.
