School #17A
School #17 was a school for girls in the Lodz ghetto; school #17a met in the morning. In 1941, students ranged in age from 6 to 13 years old (most were 8 to 11 years old), meaning they were born between 1928 and 1935.
School #17 was located at Młynarska 25. The street name was changed to Mühlstrasse when German occupation began in 1939. See
www.lodz-ghetto.com for a map of Młynarska and the rest of the Lodz ghetto.

User Comment:
I believe that the individual that signed Moszenberg is Ita Lipcia Moszenberg. She is the right age to have signed the document. She is the individual that is most logical to have signed the document.
Expert Reviewer Comment:
I agree that you have found the student who most likely signed the album. Thank you for leaving research notes. Please note that A.M. is not part of the ghetto street address but an abbreviation for the German word for old tenant. For more information go to the community center on this page: http://online.ushmm.org/lodzchildren/discussion_view.php?ForumPost__ForumPostId=816. Good luck on the next stages!
As I said before, I believe that Ita Lipcia is a possible match. It's just that AM wasn't part of the street address. You can replace Jached with her.
When entering the ghetto street address please use the dropdown list, in this case it is Hamburgerstrasse.

I also agree that this is the person who most likely signed this name in the album. Please use the drop-down list of street names to select Hamburgerstrasse, rather than writing Hamburg in separately.
