User Comment:

Is it possible that Nechemia Rozensztajn was a boy instead of a girl? I found a Nechemia IJsz Rozenstajn born 01/08/1923 but he is a male. He would have been the right age for School #6 and I did research on the name and found that Nechemia is a variant form of Nehemiah.

Nechemua lived at Siegfried 8 flat 15 and P.O.W 23. I wasn't sure if POW was an address or not.

Approver Comment:
It is entirely possible. I agree that Nechemiah is the most likely person to have signed this name in the album, and I'm not entirely sure why the name is marked as female since school #6 was a co-ed school. I think we have enough evidence to support my changing the gender in the system. Nice work.

I'm still not sure what P.O.W. means but will do some looking. Let me know what you find in the next stages!

User Comment:

The only other person I found living at Siegfried 8 Flat 15 was Pinkus Rozenstajn born 5/11/1917 and he lived at Hohen 56 as well as Siegfried 8 15. PInkus isn't old enough to be Nechemia's father so I'm guessing that he was his older brother or maybe cousin. I couldn't find anything on their parents...

Expert Reviewer Comment:
Hmm, I wonder where their parents could be? Great work and I agree with your findings!

You'll also find him listed as Pinchas Rozensztajn--perhaps the parents are listed under Rozensztajn rather than Rozenstajn?
