I agree that this is a very likely candidate to have signed the album as Dawid Wajnberg--as you suggest, in 1941 he would have been 10 years old, an appropriate age to be attending school #14b. There's at least one other candidate, too--remember that often names were spelled differently when translated from Yiddish to German/Polish characters. I'm looking at a Dawid Weinberg (same pronunciation, different spelling), b. 1927. What do you think?
