User Comment:
After searching the database on all 3 settings with the full name of Jeszaja Tajtelbaum (and finding nothing), I searched exactly for the last name and was able to find Jakub. I also attempted to search for the translation of Jeszaja (Isaiah) and found nothing. His date of birth fits the parameters for having attended #14B, and he is the only individual that is remotely close to what I was looking for. He is listed twice, I believe, in the database (the birthdates are too close together for it to be just coincidence- 01.04.1927 and 04.04.1927). His notes indicate that he moved to the Cranachstrasse address on 08.02.43. His notes also indicate that he was held in an orphanage (Weisenhaus).
Expert Reviewer Comment:
Although we can't be certain that this record points to the student who signed the album but this is a possible match.Thank you for adding a note for your fellow researchers.
Approver Comment:
I agree this is the most likely candidate to have signed this name in the album. Thank you for correcting your sources. Franzstrasse 76 was a known orphanage, so the note of Weisenhaus makes sense.
