User Comment:
I found Gerszon's family by matching people with the same last name to Gerszon's address. I found his father (Szmil, b. 1896), mother (Sura, b. 1904), and two siblings (Natan, b. 1929) (Fajga, b. 1938).
Sura was diagnosed with typhoid on October 9, 1940, according to Hospital Death Records, but was deported--along with the rest of the family--on March 31, 1942, during the month of daily deportations to Chelmno.

Thank you for adding Gerszon's family to his record. Due to the deportation date we have to assume that the family perished in Chelmno. In March 1942, more than 24,650 Jews were deported from the Lodz ghetto to their deaths at the Chelmno killing center.
