User Comment:
First I did a search for M* Pilicer, then narrowed it down by adding 1930 +/- 5 years as a search parameter. Marjem was the only one who came up that fit the birthdate range for her to have attended school #4B.

I also agree that this is the person who most likely signed this name in the album.

User Comment:
I matched Marjem to her family via matching addresses. Marjem lived with her mother (Chaja, b. 1900), and siblings Chana (b. 1923), Rajzla/Reizla (b. 1924), Pinkus (b. 1928), and Szejna (b. 1935).
Chana and Rajzla/Reizla both have two records, both of which have one address set that matches Marjem's and the other that includes a separate address at Hanseaten.
Of all the family, Szejna is the only one that does not have death/deportation information listed with her. All of the family members, except Szejna, died on the same date- March 9, 1943. There is no deportation associated with this date, but I do think it rather strange that all of them died on the exact same date without providing deportation information or some other logical reason. The only one that has a cause of death is Chaja, who died of pulmonary tuberculosis.

Thank you for helping complete Marjem's record. I also agree that it is very strange that the whole family is listed as having died on that same day. Nothing is listed in the Chronicle of the Lodz Ghetto for that day. I hope we can find more information about what happened to Marjem and her family when more resources become available to us.
