Gender: boy
School:
Gymnasium and high school for boys
Gymnasium and high school students were typically between 14 and 20 years old. A gymnasium student in September 1941 was likely born between 1921 and 1927.
The gymnasium and high school for boys was located on Otylii. The street name was changed to Ottilienstrasse when German occupation began in 1939. See
www.lodz-ghetto.com for a map of Otylii and the rest of the Lodz ghetto.

User Comment:
There were no results in the database for an "L. Danielak." Out of the 8 results that did surface, Zelman seemed like the most probable due to age, occupation of Schuler, and sound of the name. A possible nickname for Zelman is Zel, which could be abbreviated as L. The website where we found this abbreviation is:

While your reasoning that L. Danielak could be Zelman Danielak is good, we cannot be sure that the initial "L" results from the abbreviation of Zelman. Though there is a chance that Zelman Danielak was the person who signed the album in 1941, there is no conclusive evidence that there is a correlation. While we cannot rule out the possibility, we cannot be sure that L. Danielak is indeed the Zelman you found. Thank you for your efforts.

User Comment:
There appears to be two entries for each family member. The first has their first two addresses and date of registration change, and the second has the next two addresses. We were unable to find any further information on any family member, but we do know that they survived past July of 1941. There is no record in any prisoner or labor camp databases after this date.

Good research. Moszek and Basia are likely the parents of Zelman Danielek. However, since we are still unsure that Zelman is the right person, we must mark your entry as possible. Thank you for your time and effort.
