School #13 was a school for boys in Lodz. The students in #13b attended classes in the afternoon. Most students were between 10 and 15 years old, meaning that they were born between 1926 and 1931.
School #13 was located at Ulica Franciszkańska 29. The street name was changed to Franzstrasse when German occupation began in 1939. You can read more about the schools on Franciszkańska at

OTHER INFORMATION
Ghetto Address: SIEGFRIED 12 14
Although the names do not match perfectly, we believe that Slaje may be a nickname for Jeszaja because the dates match in order for this student to be in elementary school. We will do further research in order to see if we can confirm this further.

User Comment:
We believe Icek Perlberg is Jeszaja's father because he has the same ghetto address as Jeszaja and was born on August 16, 1894, which would therefore make him approximately 35 when he had Jeszaja.
We also believe that Frajda Perlberg, born May 22, 1924 is Jeszaja's older sister because she has the same ghetto address as well.
We believe Mania Perlberg is Jeszaja's mother because she again has the same ghetto address and a birth date in the year 1898, making her 31 when giving birth to Jeszaja.

Sound reasoning all. Marking this as possible until we learn more about Jeszaja.
