User Comment:
With only the last name Muzykant given, we decided that this boy must have been Matyl Muzykant because the year he was born in would mean he attended school #2
Because of the suggestions and after reviewing Motek Muzykant, we decided to add him and his information, because there is a very good chance that it could have been him, as well. Note that Motek is connectected to the Talwig address, while Matyl is connected to the two addresses above. Motek was born in October while Matyl was born in February.
Expert Reviewer Comment:
This does indeed seem like a possible candidate, as boys who attended school #2 would have likely been born between 1926 to 1931. Nice job on entering the data correctly.
Did you by any chance see Motek Muzykant while doing your research? Take a look at him as he may be a possible candidate as well as he was born in 1929!

Thank you for looking at both Matyl and Motek--I agree that they are both possible candidates to have signed the album for school #2. Thank you as well for clarifying which information belongs to which student. Take a look at the date in Matyl's ghetto note--what do you think that means?
Nice work, see you in the next stages!

User Comment:
Because we know that he was deported June 30th, 1944 from Lodz, we found this deportations date in the secondary source. For this trasportation date, it is known that 700 people were deported to Chelmno in transport IV, and killed in gas vans.
Approver Comment:
I agree that this information is correct for Matyl, who is listed as having been deported (AG?) on June 30, 1944. This date could be a change of address date, but as you note it was also the date of a deportation to Chelmno. I agree that if he was deported to Chelmno it is likely he was killed in that same year. Thank you for helping to complete Matyl's record.
Is there anything else you can find out about Motek?
