User Comment:

I found these two possibilities for Izak Lubin. Both names are a little bit different, and they are also born in different years, but within the age range for the original Izak Lubin. They are also both listed as students. I'll continue my research and try to find which one may be a more likely candidate. Any suggestions? Maybe one name is more likely to be Izak Lubin? I wasn't sure if one of those names was closer to the original name I was searching.

Thanks for listing both! I agree that we should follow both through the next stages to figure out what's going on. Also note their addresses:

Lubinska=Matrosen 26 #11, Pomorska 67, and Talweg 6 (after June 30, 1943)
Lubinski=Alexhof 26 #73, Koenigsberge, and Sperling 15/16.

Nice work! Looking forward to seeing what you find in stage 2.

User Comment:

According to the ghetto notes he was transferred on 10.9.42. By looking through the secondary sources it appears the transfers on this day were deported from Lodz to Chelmno and ultimately killed in gas vans.

Approver Comment:
I agree; the date of September 10 puts his deportation in the middle of the Gehsperre Aktion, when many children were deported to Chelmno and killed. Thank you for correcting the date, and thank you for helping to complete Icchok's record.
