I believe that Izrael (born in 1899) and Pola (born in 1904) are Mendel's parents, as they are the right age to have him as a child and they all lived at the same address, Sperling Gasse 4 Flat 5. I found this information using the Lodz Ghetto Inhabitants Database and the Lodz Ghetto List.
