Gymnasium and high school for girls
Gymnasium and high school students were typically between 14 and 20 years old. A gymnasium student in September 1941 was likely born between 1921 and 1927.
The gymnasium and high school for girls was located on Otylii. The street name was changed to Ottilienstrasse when German occupation began in 1939. See
www.lodz-ghetto.com for a map of Otylii and the rest of the Lodz ghetto.

Looks like a match. Note that Maryla moved from Hamburger Strasse 40 to Hohensteiner Strasse 34 Flat 8a in the ghetto. Her occupation is listed as "modistin" or a milliner. Did you notice the date that she changed her address in the ghetto? It's important.

User Comment:
If Maryla was alive in the ghetto on July 12, 1944, then she was alive even up to the last month of the ghetto's existence.
Approver Comment:
Yes... She appears to have moved from Hamburger Strasse 40 to Hohensteiner Strasse 34 Flat 8a in the ghetto. Note that she changed apartments just before the end of the mass deportations to Chelmno of June/July 1944 and immediately before the ghetto liquidation in August 1944.

I think you are correct. I noticed that you listed the "change of address" date as coming from secondary sources rather than from the same database as the parents' names. Did you look at the secondary sources? Did they provide any clues about what might have happened on July 12, 1944?
