Approver Comment:
I suppose it is possible that "Rachla Laufer" born in 1927 was the girl who signed the album "R. Laufer" in 1941. In fact, she looks like a very interesting choice and survived for many years in the ghetto (and perhaps even the Holocauzst). But is there a reason that you chose her over the other R. Laufers listed in the Lodz Ghetto Inhabitants database? For example, why not --

LAUFER, Ruchla
Born 1926
Addresses: Hohensteiner Strasse 42 and Hohensteiner Strasse 42 Flat 73 Changed address: 10/12/1942
Occupation: Schuelerin

LAUFER, Rachela
Born 1923
Addresses: Ogrodowa 32 and Hanseaten Strasse 12 Flat 15 Died 13/10/1942 Lodz Ghetto

LAUFER, Rifka
Born 11/02/1927
Address: Hirten Weg 15 Flat 22
Died 02/12/1942 Lodz Ghetto

And also, did you notice that Rachla also went by Ruchla? You should enter both spellings of her name into the database. She lived at no fewer than five different addresses and appears to have survived in the ghetto through the deportations to Chelmno in 1944. She was probably deported to Auschwitz when the ghetto was liquidated; so, you should look for more evidence of her there and in other concentration camps.

LAUFER, Rachla / Ruchla
Born 1927
Addresses: Franz Strasse 51, Franz Strasse 57 Flat 24, Basar Gasse 9 Flat 33, Hamburger Strasse 40 Flat 22, and Alexanderhof Strasse 14
Changed address on: 25/04/1943 and 11/07/1944
Occupation: Schuelerin and Schneider
