User Comment:

Is it plausible to assume that Dora, which was the name of the girl who signed the album, is a nickname for Frajda Dwojra Russ (her middle name)? If it is plausible, let me know and I'll add in her birth date--it also falls within the range of the children who went to Dora's school. Thanks!

Based on the researcher's response, I've deduced that Dora Russ may quite possibly be Frajda Dwojra Russ. It was difficult to locate her and I tried all the drop down options and came up with no plausible results. Eventually, I kept the last name Russ and for the first name, put in D*, both names with the "exact" drop down option. The database came back with several options, but Frajda Dwojra Russ was plausible because Dora could be short for Dwojra and the birth date fell within the time range of the dates of the girls who went to Dora's school. Furthermore, the occupation of Frajda Drwojra Russ was student, just as Dora's had been. Based on that logic, I've deduced that Dora Russ may have been Frajda Dwojra Russ.

Expert Reviewer Comment:
Great detective work! I agree that Dora could be a nickname for Dwojra, and some people do go by their middle names. Try locating her family and finding out what happened to all of them in the next stages- good luck!

It is very possible--we see many students who signed their middle names in the album. The only other possibilty I see is Dora Nuss, born in 1920--what do you think about her?

Great process note. Please keep up that excellent work throughout your research.
