Fellowship Research

For her Stephen B. Barry Memorial Fellowship at the Mandel Center, Dr. Biskupska examined the Nazi occupation of Poland from the perspective of the Warsaw intelligentsia community as victims, perpetrators, bystanders, and interpreters of Nazi wartime policy, using the Ringelblum Archives of the Warsaw Ghetto, and the records of the Polish Underground Army and the German centers for Ostforschung.

Dr. Jadwiga Biskupska was in residence at the Mandel Center from September 1 to December 31, 2014.
