Gymnasium and high school for girls
Gymnasium and high school students were typically between 14 and 20 years old. A gymnasium student in September 1941 was likely born between 1921 and 1927.
The gymnasium and high school for girls was located on Otylii. The street name was changed to Ottilienstrasse when German occupation began in 1939. See
www.lodz-ghetto.com for a map of Otylii and the rest of the Lodz ghetto.

User Comment:
Karola's father died in the ghetto on January 3, 1943. This makes it possible that they were not transported in 1942.

Good research. It is entirely possible that these are Karola's parents based on the addresses. In fact, it is likely. At first, I was a little skeptical, but then I performed a search using Karola's middle name -- Kajla Maroko. I found two additional entries for her -- Kajla Marokko and Kajla Maroko. The addresses and date of new address match Lemel and Mirla. Good job!
