It is very likely that you have correctly identified "Majer Horowitz" as "Majer Horowicz" (a student born 28-04-1930 and living at Altmarkt and then Steinmetz Gasse 8a Flat 26 ). Even though, there is another young man who is entered in the Lodz Ghetto Inhabitants database with the exact same name and is listed as having been born in 1931 and living at Am Bach 12 Flat 13, I feel that the weight of evidence suggests you are on the right track.
